Diversity Training in the Workplace

Diversity Training in the Workplace

Diversity training involves turning legal obligations and principled intentions into practical skills. The goal is not to engage in rhetoric about diversity—it is to change the decisions, behaviors, and processes that hinder inclusion.

Accordia has been designing and delivering corporate diversity training programs for 16 years. Each program is custom-tailored, grounded in the realities of your organization, and designed to drive measurable change.

What Sets Effective Diversity Training Apart

Most diversity training programs fail for three reasons:

Too theoretical: participants leave with concepts but not with practical tools. The following Monday, nothing has changed.

Too preachy: A tone that makes people feel guilty breeds resistance, especially among senior managers. The result: the very people who need training the most are the first to tune out.

Too generic: A cookie-cutter program doesn't address your specific situation. Participants don't see themselves in the examples, and the lessons don't translate to their own experiences.

Accordia takes a different approach. Our training programs are tailored to your specific context, delivered by consultants with hands-on experience in the field, and followed by a post-training reinforcement phase to solidify what you’ve learned.

Impact measurement

Accordia doesn't just provide training—we measure the impact of our training programs. This includes pre- and post-training assessments, tracking HR metrics over a six-month period, and targeted employee surveys.

Because training whose impact cannot be measured is training that cannot be improved or defended in the executive committee.
