What Is It, Then? LGBT+
Released during Pride Month, this game helped spark a conversation about LGBT+ issues in the workplace. Its accessible format promotes understanding and respect without being preachy.
In France, one in four LGBT+ people report having experienced discrimination in the workplace. Yet the topic remains one of the most difficult to address in the workplace—whether out of fear of saying the wrong thing, a lack of understanding, or simply avoidance.
What Is It, Anyway?© LGBT+ creates a safe space for colleagues to discuss these issues. The cards present players with real-life scenarios: a colleague coming out, appropriate language, transgender rights, and the role of an ally.
The game isn't meant to persuade, but to help people understand. In 45 minutes, it allows each participant to assess their own stance on these issues and leave with clear guidelines for taking action in their daily lives.
Used by the SNCF as part of Pride Month and by the CEA during internal conferences on LGBT+ inclusion, this game can be incorporated into your key D&I initiatives as well as your continuing education programs.

One in four LGBT+ people has experienced at least one LGBT-phobic incident at work. And half of those affected do not come out at work, for fear of the consequences for their careers. This silence comes at a cost: disengagement, high turnover, and a loss of trust. Creating an environment where everyone can be their authentic self is a direct driver of performance and employee retention.
