Racism in the Workplace: Breaking the Silence to Build a Culture of Equality
In France, nearly one in four workers reports having witnessed racist remarks or behavior in the workplace. Despite equality policies, everyday racism persists: comments about people’s backgrounds, the glass ceiling, bias in hiring, and daily microaggressions.
What Is This, Anyway?© Racism creates a structured space for dialogue to address these issues among colleagues. The cards present participants with real-life situations: cultural stereotypes, discrimination in hiring, cultural appropriation, and standing up against racist remarks.
The game is not intended to make people feel guilty or to pass judgment, but rather to raise awareness. In 45 minutes, each participant leaves with a better understanding of the mechanisms of racism and practical tips for taking action in their daily work environment.
