Inclusive Management Training
Inclusive Management Training
Inclusive management is not a watered-down version of traditional management. It is a set of specific skills—such as identifying biases in performance evaluations, managing group dynamics, providing fair feedback, and creating opportunities for underrepresented groups to speak up—that can be learned and practiced.
Accordia has been training managers in these skills for 16 years. The training program is accredited, practical, and designed to be applied in real-world situations—not just left on the page.
What the training covers
Module 1 — Biases in Managerial Decisions
Recruitment, performance evaluations, task assignments, promotions: every decision is influenced by unconscious biases. This module highlights these biases and provides strategies for counteracting them.
Module 2 — Creating the Conditions for Everyone to Contribute
Meetings, briefings, feedback: how can we ensure that diverse voices contribute as much as the dominant ones? Practical, immediately applicable techniques.
Module 3 — Managing Critical Situations
Reports of discrimination, sexist behavior within the team, and tension arising from differences: what does the law say, what should a manager do, and how can one intervene without escalating the situation?
Module 4 — Consolidation and Individual Action Plan
Each manager leaves with a personal action plan: 3 practices to change within 30 days.
Formats
One-day or two-day workshop: comprehensive format, collaborative development among participants, real-world case studies.
E-learning module + virtual classroom: for geographically dispersed populations.
Certification program: can be incorporated into a formal HR development track.
Qualiopi Certification — OPCO coverage may be available.
What Training Changes (and How We Measure It)
Accordia offers a tool for measuring impact before and after: manager self-assessments, a targeted employee survey, and an analysis of HR decisions over a six-month period.
Because training that isn't measured is training that can't be improved.
