The Label Diversité is a certification created by the French government in 2008 to recognize an organization's effective, voluntary and lasting commitment to preventing discrimination and promoting diversity in its human resources management. More specifically, this label :

  • Applies to companies, associations, ministries, public establishments and local authorities,
  • Evaluates the organization's practices in terms of recruitment, integration, career management and, more generally, human resources management,
  • Takes into account the context in which the organization operates (territorial roots, relations with suppliers, customers, users),
  • Is interested in diversity in all its forms, seeking to prevent discrimination based on criteria recognized by law,
  • Is issued by AFNOR Certification after assessment and recommendation by a commission, for a renewable 4-year period.

The Label Diversité aims to promote good practice in preventing discrimination and promoting diversity in the workplace.
