Intentions

As part of its social responsibility strategy, BPVF wanted to structure and formalize a diversity initiative in line with the Diversity Label issued by AFNOR. This initiative was designed to meet the need to comply with the label's criteria, while taking into account the bank's specific territorial characteristics. BPVF was looking to strengthen its diversity policy by integrating inclusive human resources management practices, adapted to its multi-site organization and its various types of public. Accordia's mission was to provide BPVF's teams with comprehensive support to ensure the success of this certification.

Actions

Accordia supported the BPVF teams in an agile way, adapted to the company's organization. Firstly, Accordia ensured the project team's skills were upgraded to reinforce their understanding of diversity and inclusion issues.

Then, after validating the project to apply for the Diversity Label, Accordia carried out several assignments.

  • Diagnosis and assessment: An audit of HR processes was carried out to assess their compliance with Label Diversité criteria. This identified areas for improvement and laid the foundations for a concrete action plan.
  • Diversity barometer: Accordia deployed a diversity barometer among the bank's employees to assess their perception of internal practices in terms of inclusion. The results highlighted both strengths and areas for improvement, taking into account the bank's specific regional characteristics.
  • Co-construction of an action plan: In collaboration with BPVF, Accordia designed an action plan based on AFNOR requirements, including the formalization of management commitments and the implementation of internal procedures to prevent discrimination.

Within a few months, this led to the submission of an application for the Diversity Label, which BPVF was awarded in 2021.

Conclusion

Thanks to this support, BPVF was able to structure its diversity policy, thus meeting the requirements of the Label Diversité. Obtaining this label has enabled BPVF to strengthen its image as a responsible employer, while consolidating its commitment to equality, already recognized through its F/H equality label.

Accordia has ensured follow-up throughout the process, with ongoing assessment of the progress made. New support is already being considered for 2025, as part of the renewal of the label.
