Workshop on Sexism in the Workplace

A workshop is more than just a short lecture. It’s a space where participants work together, challenge their own assumptions, and leave with concrete commitments. Accordia designs workshops that achieve this outcome—not just presentation sessions in disguise.

Typical Structure of an Accordia Sexism Workshop

Phase 1 — Grounding in Reality (30 min)
Role-playing based on scenarios drawn from real-world professional settings.

Phase 2 — Understanding the Mechanisms (45 min)
How sexism takes root, becomes normalized, and resists good intentions.

Phase 3 — What I Can Do (45 min)
Small-group work on real-life situations. What should I say? How should I react? When should I step in?

Phase 4 — Commitments and Closing (30 min)
Each participant makes an individual commitment.

Total duration: half-day (3 hours) or full day with in-depth coverage.

For whom

  • Managers (format tailored to managerial roles)
  • All employees (general awareness)
  • HR teams and D&I leaders (in-depth training and tools)
  • Executive bodies (CODIR, COMEX — format and tone tailored to the audience)
