Harassment

In a professional context, it takes the form of repeated behavior that deteriorates working conditions, undermines the employee's rights, dignity and physical or mental health, or jeopardizes his or her professional future.
Harassment in the workplace is prohibited by the French Labor Code(articles L1152-1 to L1152-6 for moral harassment and L1153-1 to L1153-6 for sexual harassment) and the French Penal Code(articles 222-33 and 222-33-2), which prescribe penalties for the perpetrators of such acts.
