Discriminatory harassment refers to any action taken by a person for a prohibited reason, with the aim of undermining his or her dignity or creating a hostile, humiliating or offensive environment. It can take the form of inappropriate comments, jokes, exclusion, overwork or under-occupation, devaluation or incivilities. A single act is enough to characterize it.
