The Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) is a compliance mechanism provided for in Article 35 of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). The analysis consists in identifying and minimizing the risks of infringement of the rights and freedoms of data subjects in a personal data processing operation. Specific vigilance can be brought to bear on the subject of the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in data processing.
