Corporate Gender Equality Assessment

Corporate Gender Equality Assessment

The Professional Equality Index provides a score. The assessment provides insight. They are not the same thing—and organizations that confuse the two are missing the point.

Accordia conducts workplace equity assessments that go beyond mere compliance calculations: we analyze processes, perceptions, and career paths to identify the true drivers of inequality within your organization.

Why a diagnosis goes beyond the index

The Professional Equality Index (Pénicaud Act) measures five indicators. It is a useful compliance tool—but it has significant blind spots:

  • It does not account for biases in recruitment and promotion processes
  • It does not capture the experiences of female employees (sense of inclusion, perceived barriers)
  • It does not distinguish between structural inequalities and specific instances of inequality
  • He says nothing about the causes of the discrepancies he observes

A comprehensive assessment fills these gaps. It turns a score into an action plan.

  • As part of a D&I policy: professional equality is the cornerstone of an inclusive approach. See our comprehensive D&I assessment.
  • Before certification (AFNOR Diversity, GEEIS): the assessment prepares the way for the audit

What sets Accordia apart

A diagnostic assessment is not a compliance audit. It is an exercise in understanding. The difference lies in the consultant’s ability to read between the lines of the data, ask the right questions during interviews, and provide recommendations that take your operational reality into account—not just theory.

Accordia has been conducting equality assessments for 16 years. Our consultants have seen enough organizations to quickly identify what works, what’s holding things back, and what goes unnoticed by those on the inside.
