Conference on Racism in the Workplace
Racism in the workplace rarely takes the form of overt acts. It most often operates through subtle mechanisms: microaggressions, ethno-racial stereotypes in HR decisions, and invisible glass ceilings. An effective workshop does more than simply identify these behaviors—it brings them to light and empowers participants to take concrete action.
Accordia designs and facilitates workshops on racism in the workplace with specialized in-house consultants. Renaud Héritier-Voisin and Isis Assogbavi lead the sessions directly, without outsourcing or bringing in guest speakers.
What the conference covers
- Documented forms of everyday racism in the workplace
- Ethnic and racial biases in hiring, evaluation, and promotion
- The Role of Allies: Approach, Tools, and Practical Solutions
- The Legal Framework: Indirect Discrimination, Employer Obligations
- HR indicators that quantify ethnic and racial discrimination
Flexible format: 1-hour keynote, 2-hour interactive session, or half-day workshop. Available in-person, remotely, or in a hybrid format. Available in French and English.
