The action plan is the core document of your Diversity Label application. It translates your assessment into concrete, measurable, and planned commitments aligned with the seven areas of the AFNOR framework.
A weak or poorly structured action plan is the leading cause of failure before the AFNOR committee. Accordia helps you develop a plan that stands up to scrutiny—both before the committee and over the long term.
The 7 areas of the AFNOR standard
Your action plan should systematically cover these seven areas:
1. Current status and assessment: Where do you stand? What are your baseline metrics?
2. Diversity Policy: Your formal commitments, approved at the highest level.
3. Internal communication and awareness-raising: how to get your employees on board.
4. Training: Which programs for which groups?
5. HR processes: recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, promotion, compensation.
6. Taking diversity into account in customer/user relations.
7. Monitoring and Evaluation: indicators, steering committee, continuous improvement.
Our approach
Collaborative development with your teams
We don’t simply provide a ready-made action plan that’s disconnected from your reality. We develop it together with your HR teams, managers, and employee representatives.
AFNOR Calibration
Each action item is formulated in accordance with the committee’s guidelines: SMART objective, designated person in charge, deadline, performance metric, and allocated budget.
Integration with mapping
The action plan directly addresses the risks identified in your risk map. Each priority risk has its own associated remediation plan.
What you get
Formalized action plan: a comprehensive document covering all 7 areas, which can be directly incorporated into the AFNOR file.
Dashboard: a tracking document with metrics, milestones, and assigned personnel to guide implementation.
3-Year Roadmap: A Multi-Year Vision for the Renewal of the Label.
Pre-panel coaching: preparation for the AFNOR hearing, practice questions, and last-minute adjustments.
