Discrimination risk mapping is a key component of the AFNOR Diversity Label. It identifies, prioritizes, and documents areas where your organization is vulnerable to discrimination—in your HR processes, management practices, and operations.
Without reliable mapping, there is no certification. But more importantly, without mapping, there is no real insight into your legal and reputational risks.
Why is risk mapping critical?
Regulatory requirement: The AFNOR framework requires a formalized analysis of discrimination risks as a prerequisite for any application for the Label.
Legal protection: In the event of a dispute, the risk assessment demonstrates the employer’s due diligence. Failure to provide one may be considered a breach of the duty to prevent accidents.
Strategic Management: The assessment prioritizes your D&I investments where the risks are highest.
Management tool: It empowers every level of the organization by making it clear who is responsible for which risks.
